NaturePainter receives a great review
from LockerGnome
November 25, 2002, Jake Ludington
Far from considering myself an artist, I was quite surprised at
how easy this software is to use. I went through a couple tutorials,
just to get a feel for virtual oil painting, and within minutes
I started applying the techniques described, making my own virtual
landscapes. Six brushes and a palette knife, combined with a variety
of brush stroke options, allow you limitless
options in creating digital masterpieces. If you've got a painting
in your head waiting to burst out, this is a quick way to put your
ideas down, without the mess or expense of oil painting tools.
I did notice that the program seems to use a large amount of processor
power, so it may not work well with older machines.
