Brian
leads the business side of NaturePainter (though that's the small
side!). He has a varied and wide background starting companies and
developing products. His achievements including starting and successfully
selling two software companies that made big products that no normal
person would ever get to use (business software). He's thrilled to
be working on something to which his family can actually relate. He
paints often, but not well. No, really not well.
Marvin
leads the technical design and development of the NaturePainter
product line. Marv graduated from UC Berkeley as an EECS major,
and has been developing software for, as he puts it, "a long,
long time." Despite his intensely computer-oriented background,
he has developed a love of nature and an appreciation for art. Marvin
combined these elements to create NaturePainter. When he is not
daydreaming about the beauty of Yosemite or oil painting, you might
find him feeding his two turtles, Arp and Homer.
Mina is responsible for educational and affiliate sales programs and business
development. She is an experienced management consultant with a
background in "big 5" consulting for the Fortune 500. We suspect
that she's working with us out of a combination of pity and foresight
:)
Bryan
is responsible for accounting issues and many of the odds and ends
of running a small business. He is an experienced accountant and
an avid computer and art enthusiast. He also enjoys winning money
from Brian in Poker and beating Marvin in computer games. Before
NaturePainter, Bryan couldn't even paint the town, but now he's
a regular painting fool.
